Bentonville Farmers Market Surpasses $ 1 Million in Sales, Moves to Virtual Market Out of Season

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA / KFTA) – The Bentonville Farmer’s Market reached a record sales of $ 1,164,492 for the 2021 season, according to a statement from Downtown Bentonville Inc.

The market takes place every Saturday from April to October, with the last market of the year scheduled for Saturday, October 30.

At the end of the downtown weekly market season, efforts will shift to support the use of the Virtual Bentonville Farmers Market, a year-round option for shoppers to purchase fresh vegetables, local meats and craft products through a website or smartphone app, according to the press. Release.

It’s a modern customer experience, and we’ve noticed that our customers buy more when they shop virtually. We are also seeing an increase in orders placed during the fall and winter months. It’s a great way for our community to support our local farmers and producers year round and have access to healthy, locally grown food every week.
