Ola Electric presented their very first S1 electric scooter a few weeks ago. Ola Chairman and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced the decision in a statement posted late at night on Twitter. “We made a commitment to start shopping today for our Ola S1 scooter. But unfortunately we had a lot of technical difficulties getting our website online for shopping today, ”he wrote on Twitter, further adding“ I apologize to all of you, who had to wait several hours. The website was simply not operational. to our quality expectations. I know we have disappointed you and I sincerely apologize to each of you for what has clearly been a very frustrating experience. “

However, Bhavish Aggarwal also said that despite the delay in the sales process, the delivery dates for the Ola S1 and S1 Pro scooters will remain unchanged. The company has introduced a fully paperless digital shopping experience for consumers. The lending process is also completely digital.

He started receiving reservations for the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters a few weeks ago at ??499, after introduction on August 15. S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters are priced at ??99,999 and ??129,999, excluding respectively FAME-II and state government benefits for electric vehicles.
