The U.S. Embassy in Belgrade announces an online auction of furniture, home appliances and computer equipment.
Auction starts on September 25, 2021, and lasts up to September 29, 2021.

How it works
U.S. Embassies sell Surplus Moveable Property (SMP) through a web-based electronic auction. Each auction will be activated for a period of time clearly indicating the start and end date. This information is available on the information panel of the web application. Usually it will be active Monday through Friday and last for two weeks.
During this period, you can actively participate and submit your bid for the surplus property. We strongly recommend that you read all information posted online regarding the condition of items offered for sale before submitting any bids, as lots are offered “as is and where is” and are non-refundable once payment is made. and cannot be returned once. picked up. The maximum number of offers on an article is indicated for each article. Increasing your bids is only possible in the name of the local currency.
During the auction, you should monitor your bids so that you can react to the price evolution of all bids. The winners of the Belgrade Embassy online auction lots can pick up their goods at Savski Nasip 7 (warehouse), Novi Beograd. Please note the dates and times designated for collection on your winners’ email. The email for the winners will consist of a link to the auction application where you can review your items, after a successful login.
Payment
Payment for items is only possible by bank transfer to the embassy’s bank account:
- In the “Message to the recipient” section, fill in the word “Auction” and the lot numbers for which you are paying.
- In the “Variable Symbol” item, fill in your Unique Identification Number (UID) which can be found in the “Winner Information” section of the auction website.
- In the “Amount” section, indicate the total amount in the local currency of your auction (s).
In the event that you have bid and won more than one item, you may pay the full amount due of all items in one payment, but all items in the lot must be identified as described in point 1 above. Items can only be picked up when payment has been received successfully. Receipt of payment is considered complete when the money reaches the U.S. Embassy bank account.
To note: It may take more than a day to transfer money from your bank to the US Embassy bank. It will not be possible to collect your items if your payment is not posted to the US Embassy bank account.
To pick up
In order to collect your items, you must present the original receipt of the bank money transfer with all the required details included in the payment paragraph above or a printed version of the Internet bank money transfer.
Any paid items that are not picked up within the scheduled time will be disposed of and there will be no possibility of their being picked up. In special cases or circumstances, you may agree on a different pickup date and time by contacting the auction manager.
After successful confirmation of payment for your items, our staff will move your items to the front of the storage building. From that moment on, you own your merchandise. You will have full responsibility for further processing procedures and timely removal of property from the Embassy. If the items are not collected in a timely manner, they may be considered abandoned and disposed of.
