OUTLOOK: The sites of Greenville-Reynolds Development Corp. are ready for business growth | Local News

REYNOLDS – With a location near three interstate highways, industrial centers near Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Erie, and room for growth, the Greenville-Reynolds Development Corp. in Mercer County is ideal for business start-ups, expansions and relocations.

The three parks – Reynolds Industrial Park, Reynolds North Park and Reynolds East Business Park – are located off Route 18 in the townships of Pymatuning, Delaware and Hempfield, a few miles south of Greenville.

Many Tri-Park businesses have undergone expansions and others have moved to the Tri-Parks. More than 50 companies, mostly industrial, with between 1 and 240 employees, have already taken up residence on the GRDC site.

More than 1,600 people work family jobs at the site, with room for many more businesses and jobs.

The parks are connected almost door-to-door by Interstate 376 with the Ethane Cracker Plant under construction in Beaver County, which provides opportunities for the addition of companies that work with plastics. These businesses will find shovel-ready sites ranging from 1 to 149 contiguous acres, with a total of 700 acres available for development.

With tax incentives available for certain sites, the parks can provide opportunities not only for industrial facilities or warehouses, but also for residential development in the Reynolds School District. Interested promoters should check with the parks property.

The future of GRDC development is bright, with the upcoming redevelopment of the former industrial wasteland in Damascus with an expandable building that could be a bespoke construction project. Interested persons should inquire with the GRDC.

For would-be workers and managers, the GRDC parks area offers the best of all possible worlds, with major city entertainment within driving distance in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Erie, but a lower cost of living and cheaper properties. The surrounding area also offers exceptional opportunities for outdoor recreation and multiple nearby airports.

At GRDC, we are here for the community; we have great county-wide leaders working together to make this happen. GRDC parks are about to grow, come be a part of it.
