Young people invite people to donate proceeds from website sales on Earth Day

On April 22, Earth Day, Youth to the People, the vegan skincare brand rooted in community and conscious activism, will donate 100% of youthtothepeople.com profits through the brand’s To the Planet fund.

The To the Planet Fund was founded in 2020 when Youth to the People launched an ambitious philanthropic initiative. The goal is to give $1 million by 2024 to nonprofits working in the climate space. To the Planet Fund is part of his broader philanthropic effort, the “Good to the People Funds”, a family of three funds focusing on issues related to his charitable causes: human rights, climate and equity between gender and race. In total, funds that will bring in $3 million by 2024.

During the month of April, To the Planet Fund will also issue a first round of two grants for nonprofit organizations earlier this month and highlight Earth Day with a one-time donation, the two totaling a minimum of $75,000.

The Earth is warming, biodiversity is being destroyed and girls, women and BIPOC communities are bearing the brunt of worsening droughts, floods, fires, famines and storms. Youth to the People supports nonprofits that empower and support women as central to climate change solutions, and nonprofits that work to mitigate global warming, advocate in favor of renewable energy and advocate and educate on net zero emissions strategies.

Good to the People Funds is made up of three funds, each with a central issue: infinite solutions to the challenges facing the planet and humanity. To learn more about the funds, visit YouthToThePeople.com.
