After switching to an online format only linked to the pandemic last year, the Web Summit 2021 returned to Lisbon and again welcomed guests from all over the world. For the first time, Ukraine hosted a pavilion at the world’s largest conference on digital technologies as a synergy of government institutions and businesses.
Parimatch Tech, an international product company that provides technology and marketing solutions in the entertainment and betting industry, was honored to represent Ukraine as the leading player in the country’s IT market. The Ukrainian pavilion at Web Summit 2021 showcased a number of startups, IT companies, foundations and innovations. The 2021 Web Summit has attracted some of the world’s most prominent speakers, journalists and companies. According to the report released by the Web Summit team, the event connected more than 42,000 people from 128 countries, proving to be a truly unifying global experience for tech enthusiasts, media and businesses around the world. The event provided visitors with an incredible opportunity to choose from hundreds of speakers who gave a total of 1,333 lectures during its four-day program.

According to event organizers, more than half of Web Summit attendees (50.5%) were women for the first time in the history of the event.
