After switching to an online format only linked to the pandemic last year, the Web Summit 2021 returned to Lisbon and again welcomed guests from all over the world. For the first time, Ukraine hosted a pavilion at the world’s largest conference on digital technologies as a synergy of government institutions and businesses.

Parimatch Tech, an international product company that provides technology and marketing solutions in the entertainment and betting industry, was honored to represent Ukraine as the leading player in the country’s IT market. Maksym Liashko, Co-CEO of Parimatch Tech, hosted a panel discussion and shared his thoughts on Ukraine’s promising future in tech.

“The phrase ‘Made in China’ comes as no surprise to anyone these days, given the impressive global expansion of the Chinese market, affecting almost every industry. In a few years, the expression “developed in Ukraine” will become also widespread. And it won’t be surprising for anyone working in the IT industry, keeping in mind the explosive growth of Ukraine in terms of startups, “unicorns” and hundreds of thousands of developers, project managers and absolutely amazing talented designers. – Maksym started.

Parimatch Tech, present in 14 countries, was born in Ukraine, continues to grow and develop in Ukraine and plans to continue its global expansion from Ukraine. The company’s most important product is one of the most popular and advanced betting platforms in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and to date the platform holds more than 1,400 transactions per minute. , pointed out Maksym. As a company operating successfully in multiple countries, Parimatch Tech believes Ukraine is one of the best places to develop and manage a global IT business.

“Despite Parimatch Tech’s global presence, the company’s largest R&D office is based in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Why? The professional environment, high standards of technological education and adaptive business approaches make Ukraine one of the best places to develop business globally. Ukraine is a unique country where working and living are just as good.

Ukraine is becoming more and more visible on the world map every year, and its booming IT sector is one of the reasons, Maksym believes. It is easy to move to Ukraine, and it is easy to do business, and the reason behind this is the great professional adaptability of Ukrainians – it is as easy for us to work with locals as it is to welcome foreigners.

“It’s easy to work from Ukraine and build global partnerships. As a Ukrainian company, Parimatch Tech has successfully signed contracts with some of the world’s biggest sports companies including Juventus FC, Leicester FC, Everton FC, Chelsea FC and UFC. So it is only a matter of time before “Developed in Ukraine” becomes another benchmark in the IT industry. – Maksym Liashko concluded.
